2004 – Riding the Wave of Victory

Competition: Sacramento Regionals, Atlanta Nationals

Following up after a win can be a hard thing to do. We had to prove ourselves once again. Many of the seniors had left again and the team was left with the bare minimum. The girls worked hard and organized to the greatest degree to repeat the success of 2003. The team attended Sacramento Regional and Atlanta Nationals in 2004. Riding on the win of the previous year, we were on our way once again to Nationals. We crafted a robot in similar fashion to the previous year, only changing the auxiliary functions in hopes of recapturing another quality award. The team did quite well at Sacramento Regional, but not as well as the previous year. We cruised through regional and slid into Nationals again; this time, in a new city and with new teams to accompany us. The season ended on a mellow note. The team completed another successful year.
