Welcome to Team 692 : The Fembots's Website

We are an all-girls robotics team from St. Francis High School in Sacramento, CA. Our team was founded in 2000 by a Physics teacher, Mr. Glasser, who encouraged us to participate in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition. Our mission is to nurture our curiosity of science and technology, develop new and life-long skills, create lasting friendships, have fun, and inspire others in our community and around the world to do the same. NOTE: No, we are not in any way, shape, or form affiliated with or related to the Austin Powers Fembots.

2013-2014 Game: Aerial Assist

This year, FIRST has challenged us to a game called Aerial Assist. Aerial Assist is played by two competing alliances of three robots each. Alliances compete by trying to score as many balls in goals as possible during a two-minute and 30-second match. Additional points are earned by robots working together to score goals, and by throwing and catching balls over a truss suspended five feet above the floor as they move down the field. (Keep reading about this year's game) We are very excited for this season and we wish all teams luck.
